In 2019, Phoenix Pride hosted the 39th Annual Phoenix Pride Festival, with the help of 300 corporations, local business, and organizations. The expectation was that the Festival’s 40th anniversary would be celebrated in 2020, but the pandemic had other plans.

The good news is that Phoenix Pride is poised for a triumphant comeback later this year, meaning it’s finally time celebrate the organization’s 40th anniversary or, as its officially billed “40 years of Fortitude.”

This momentous celebration goes down on the weekend of November 6 and 7 at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. As always, it will be a two-day bonanza focused on bringing Phoenix’s diverse LGBTQ+ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and revelry, all while raising resources for the Phoenix Pride Community Programs and educating the world about the ongoing civil rights battle the LGBTQ+ community faces every day.

As in past years, the 2021 Phoenix Pride festival will include over 150 performances spread across six exciting stages, and over 300 exhibitors offering everything from food and drink options to homemade crafts to community resources. The 2021 Festival will also feature the return of popular staples like the Dance Pavillion and Erotic World (18+).

It will also feature a KidSpace for younger visitors.

In previous years, Phoenix Pride has attracted more than 40,000 visitors and this year won’t be any different—particularly after the pandemic forced the postponement of the event in 2020.

Phoenix Pride is free to attend for active members of the military and children under 12. Children aged 13–17, seniors aged 55 and older, and former military can receive discounted admission at the ticket gate. General admission tickets for all adults can be purchased here.
